Hours per Week: As needed 7:30am-4:00pm, weekend call rotation required
Summary:
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient needs utilizing nursing process during stress testing, cardioversions, tilt tables, and transesophageal echos. Actively participates in providing patient care as defined by multidisciplinary plan of care. Provides direct and indirect nursing care to patients from pediatric to geriatric populations with diverse cultural backgrounds. The RN not only provides nursing care to all patients but also prepares patients for stress tests, applies electrodes, and performs the stress test by operating the equipment to acquire the stress test.

Note: AnMed Associate Degree Nurses (ADN) who were hired as RNs prior to January 1, 2013, and continue to work as an acute care Staff Nurse since that date, were “grandfathered” and the requirement to obtain BSN within four (4) years does not apply.
