Position Summary

The Registered Nurse functions as a healthcare provider who, working under the delegated authority of the supervising physician, performs prescribed noninvasive cardiovascular procedures and stress testing (including Nuclear Stress, Dobutamine Stress, and Echo Stress testing). The nurse also performs conscious sedation during Transesophageal echo. Call will be required when cross-training in the Stress Lab (17530) is completed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate degree in Nursing
• Required Registration/License/Certification:
• BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer
• ACLS must be obtained within 12 months of DOH or transfer
• Registered Nursing License

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Nursing
• One-year hospital experience with strong knowledge of electrocardiogram

Other Requirements

• Call will be required when cross-training in the Stress Lab (17530) is completed.
