Job summary

Family Guidance Centers, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Staff Nurse to join our behavioral health team in Springfield, IL. The role involves patient flow from assessment to discharge in MAT and standard treatment programs, with medication dispensing under strict procedures.

You will monitor methadone and other medications, track patients’ physical and mental health, and document outcomes. Travel may be required; schedule is mornings on weekdays with some weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Two years post-degree experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Solid communication skills and ability to document clearly.
• Good knowledge of medical terminology and nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Process patients from assessment to discharge in MAT and drug-free programs.
• Dispense medications under program and regulatory procedures.
• Monitor methadone dosage and other medications for appropriateness.
• Monitor physical and mental health and document findings.
• Must be available to travel if needed.

The Staff Nurse essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Processes patients from assessment to discharge in bothmedications assisted treatment and drug free treatment programming.
• Dispenses all medication under procedures set forth by FamilyGuidance Center,Substance Use Prevention and Recovery,ClinicalSustainability Assessment Tooland the Drug Enforcement Administration
• Monitors the appropriateness of methadone and medication dosages.
• Monitors the physical & mental health well-being of patientsand documents findings.
• Must be available to travel if needed

Schedule: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm five days a week (days vary) Sat7:15 am to 10:15 am every other weekend

Experience and Skills:
