Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ, seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) for the PACU to deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced operating room recovery setting. You will coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team and document in the electronic health record.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, NJ RN license, and current BLS/ACLS (PALS preferred). A minimum of 3 years PACU experience is required. Shift is Days, 2:45pm-11:15pm, with on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the PACU per established policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care with physicians and multidisciplinary team for well‑planned patient recovery.

• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families about care plans.

Job Summary

The Staff Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. The tasks and responsibilities include:

• Creating an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with both patients and their families
• Serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in an acute or clinic settings
• Making sound decisions in response to changes in condition/response to treatment while maintaining a calm demeanor
• Utilizing the Electronic Health Record to document patient care
• Effectively coordinating with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, results of diagnostic tests and critical test values

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
