Job summary

Englewood Health in Englewood, NJ seeks a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in the PACU, following established policies and protocols. You will coordinate multiple disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care in acute hospital or clinic settings.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years PACU experience, a NJ RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certification. BSN preferred; on-site days 9:00am-9:30pm with staggered starts and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of PACU experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Current NJ RN License, BLS, ACLS and PALS required; CPAN preferred.

• Creating an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with both patients and their families
• Serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in an acute or clinic settings
• Making sound decisions in response to changes in condition/response to treatment while maintaining a calm demeanor
• Utilizing the Electronic Health Record to document patient care
• Effectively coordinating with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, results of diagnostic tests and critical test values

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
