Job summary

Englewood Health is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care in the Englewood, NJ area. This per diem role requires a BSN and an active NJ RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NPR with intermediate FHM within 3 years.

The nurse will utilize the EHR to document care and coordinate with physicians and the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services in a fast-paced setting.

Job Summary: The Staff Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. The tasks and responsibilities include:

• Creating an environment that leads to a positive patient care experience by evaluating, planning and implementing effective plans of care and communicating with both patients and their families
• Serving as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care in an acute or clinic settings
• Making sound decisions in response to changes in condition/response to treatment while maintaining a calm demeanor
• Utilizing the Electronic Health Record to document patient care
• Effectively coordinating with physicians and team members regarding changes in patient status, symptomatology, results of diagnostic tests and critical test values

Department: Nursing Location: Englewood, NJ Status: Per diem Shift: 12 hours Hours: 6:45a-7:15p

Job Essentials: Minimum 1 year L&D experience required.

Education Requirements: BSN required.

License/Certification/Registry: Current NJ RN License, ACLS, NPR and BLS. Intermediate FHM within 3 years.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
