Job summary

Main Line Health’s Paoli Hospital is seeking an Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse to join the interdisciplinary team. The role includes assessing patients, administering antineoplastic and supportive therapies, monitoring responses, educating patients, and coordinating care with physicians and nurses.

This is a day shift, part-time position (20 hours per week) with rotation to other locations as needed. Requirements include RN licensure in Pennsylvania, BLS, and oncology or infusion nursing

Qualifications

• One year of recent oncology, infusion, or comparable acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience administering antineoplastic therapies, immunotherapies, blood products, and supportive medications preferred.
• Experience with vascular access devices and patient education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate infusion care to oncology patients.

Experience

• RN Diploma or ASN required.
• BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications

• Current Pennsylvania RN license or a multistate license verified in one of the approved states through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
• Oncology Nursing Society chemotherapy and immunotherapy provider certification preferred; required within the timeframe established by the department.
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification preferred.
