Job summary

Main Line Health invites applications for a Nurse Practitioner, Inpatient Hematology Oncology at Paoli Hospital. You will provide advanced nursing care, perform diagnoses and collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Full-time, Day Shift, 40 hours/week. Eligible for up to $6,000/year tuition reimbursement, up to 240 hours of PTO per year, free employee parking, and discounts with various vendors.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner with inpatient hematology/oncology focus is required.
• MSN degree is required for this role.
• Completion of an NP program is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and prescribe medical therapies in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Lead quality and evidence-based care initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care with physicians, residents, and families to ensure personalized care plans.

Position:

Nurse Practitioner, NP - Inpatient Hematology Oncology

Shift:

Full Time, 40 hours/week. Monday - Friday Day Shift, no weekends or Holidays!

Experience:

• 1. 2 years Nurse Practitioner experience in an Inpatient setting preferred, Hematology Oncology highly preferred.
• 2. Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Hematology Oncology preferred.
• 3. New Grads considered with prior Hematology Oncology Nursing experience and Inpatient Clinical rotations

Education:

• 1. Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program required.
• 2. MSN Required.

Licensures/Certifications:

• 1. Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Examiners as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.
• 2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.
• 3. Require ACLS certification.
• 4. May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support).
• 5. Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
