Job summary

The Oncology Infusion Nurse position at Collegeville provides safe, compassionate care to patients receiving infusion therapy. You will assess patients, administer antineoplastic and supportive medications, monitor responses, educate patients, and coordinate care with the team to support an exceptional patient experience.

This role offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year for Full or Part Time status, and opportunities to join Nursing Committees and pursue clinical ladder advancement

Qualifications

• One year of recent oncology, infusion, or comparable acute care nursing experience preferred.
• Experience administering antineoplastic therapies, immunotherapies, blood products, and supportive meds preferred.
• Experience with vascular access devices and patient education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients receiving infusion therapy and monitor treatment response.
• Administer antineoplastic and supportive medications.

Collegeville with rotation to other locations as needed.

Day shift, 8 hours (24 hours per week)

Experience:

Education:

• RN Diploma or ASN required.
• BSN preferred.

Licensures/Certifications:

• Current Pennsylvania RN license or a multistate license verified in one of the approved states through the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Provider BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.
• Oncology Nursing Society chemotherapy and immunotherapy provider certification preferred; required within the timeframe established by the department.
• Oncology Certified Nurse certification preferred.
