Job summary

QSL Management's The Blake at Flowood is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide care on the 3pm-11pm shift, with every-other-weekend requirement. The role supports residents in a memory and performance program and collaborates with the Wellness Leadership team.

The ideal candidate holds an LPN license, CPR and First Aid certifications, and has experience in assisted living or long-term care. Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work independently, you will oversee shifts as charge nurse when on duty.

Qualifications

• Current license for LPN issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred.
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medications per physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living.
• Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team
