Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Staff Nurse for The Blake at Biloxi. This role provides medical treatment and administers medications per physician orders, with a focus on compassionate resident care in an assisted living setting.

The ideal candidate holds a current LPN license, CPR and First Aid certifications, and has experience in long-term care. Flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts is required; you will work with a Wellness Leadership team to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification
• Current First Aid certification preferred
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
• Caring heart, willing to serve others

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within scope of applicable regulations.
• Provide world class care and service for residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently and with a team to organize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under Leadership team

Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse:

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living.
• Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred
• Current First Aid certification preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
