Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Staff Nurse (LPN) for The Blake at Flowood to provide compassionate medical care in a senior living setting. The position is part-time and requires working every other weekend, with opportunities to grow within our resort-style community.

Responsibilities include administering medications, delivering high-quality resident care, and supporting memory and performance programs. LPN license, CPR, and First Aid are required or preferred as noted.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
• Current LPN license issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Assisted Living or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current First Aid certification preferred.
• Flexible and prepared to work weekends and holidays.

We are currently looking for a Staff Nurse for The Blake at Flowood.

Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse:

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living.
• Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team

Requirements

• Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred
