Job summary

The Walmart Staff, Software Engineer leads features in the Android and iOS apps, delivering scalable platform capabilities and integrating AI/ML components to enhance automation and product functionality.

You will mentor junior engineers, participate in design reviews, coding, testing and deployment, and work with product and design teams to optimize the mobile experience.

This role requires strong communication across technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area.
• 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sophisticated features in Walmart Android/iOS applications.
• Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes.
• Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls.
