Job summary

Adobe is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to design and deliver production-grade generative and agentic AI systems powering the Firefly AI Assistant and Creative Cloud workflows. You will work at the intersection of computer vision, multimodal learning, and agentic AI to build scalable services, APIs, and production ML infrastructure for millions of creative professionals.

This role includes technical leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and driving end-to-end ML

Qualifications

5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning systems in production.
Hands-on experience designing and building agentic AI systems, including tool use, orchestration, and multi-step workflows.
Experience with agent interoperability and tool integration, including MCP or similar frameworks.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and deployment of multimodal and generative AI systems spanning vision and language.
Build and productionize generative AI models and systems (transformers, diffusion, LLMs, VLMs) for content creation and transformation.
Develop agentic AI systems that can reason, use tools, and orchestrate complex workflows.
Implement scalable APIs and production ML infrastructure.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers on AI systems.
