Job summary

Google seeks software engineers to advance AI-first advertising products within the Search Ads and Ads on Google Experiences teams. You will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable systems powering billions of interactions at massive scale.

You will work with product, data, and policy partners to build GenAI-driven ad creation, optimization, and monetization features, while ensuring safety and ROI for advertisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience across languages, data structures, and algorithms.
• 8+ years of experience with ML/AI algorithms, tools, deep learning, or other AI/ML modeling.
• 8+ years testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 5 years with software design and architecture.
• 7+ years leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing ML infrastructure.
• 2+ years of experience with GenAI techniques (LLMs, multimodal, vision models) or GenAI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects within Google Ads/Experiences delivering AI-driven advertising solutions.
• Collaborate with product, policy, and data teams to optimize ROI and user experience.
• Build scalable end-to-end infrastructure with latency and data freshness constraints.
• Lead roadmap setting, objectives, and cross-team OKRs for AI initiatives.
• Ensure safe and compliant deployment of GenAI capabilities.
