Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on Member of Technical Staff in Machine Learning & Agent Security Engineering to build production AI and agentic systems within the Security org. You’ll implement scalable pipelines, tool calling, and state management across cloud environments.

The ideal candidate has strong Python software skills, practical ML experience, and familiarity with Generative AI and distributed systems.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software engineering or ML engineering.
Strong hands-on programming skills in Python.
Solid fundamentals: data structures, APIs, testing, debugging, code reviews.
Experience building and operating production software, services, data-processing systems, or ML applications.
Experience solving implementation-level challenges involving scale, performance, reliability, data volume, or concurrency.
Practical understanding of machine learning fundamentals and libraries.
Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM technologies in software.
Experience with cloud-based, distributed, or data-intensive applications.
Understanding of CI/CD, monitoring, and operational debugging.

Responsibilities

Architect and operate high-availability AI and LLM agentic systems with tool calling and state management across cloud environments.
Build scalable security intelligence pipelines and ML models for large-scale security telemetry.
Own end-to-end production lifecycle with telemetry, observability, and reliability improvements.
