Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a hands-on Member of Technical Staff in Machine Learning and Agent Security Engineering to build reliable production AI services and secure agentic workflows. You will contribute to scalable AI/ML capabilities within the Security organization, applying tool calling, structured outputs, and state management in Python across cloud environments.

The role emphasizes end-to-end ownership, resilience, observability, and collaboration with other engineers to deliver robust

Qualifications

3+ years of professional software or ML engineering experience.
Strong Python programming skills.
Experience delivering production software and ML applications.
familiarity with cloud-based, distributed or data-intensive applications.
Understanding of software development practices (source control, testing, CI/CD).
Experience with security concepts, telemetry, and threat detection is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and operate high-availability production AI and agentic systems.
Build scalable ML pipelines and automated security intelligence capabilities.
Own end-to-end lifecycle including testing, deployment, and production operations.
Improve observability with telemetry, logs, metrics, and tracing.
Collaborate with engineers to apply emerging agentic AI technologies.
