You will prototype, model, and validate designs in collaboration with compliance engineers, with relocation assistance available as Form expands its manufacturing footprint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
• Experience with first-principles fluids modeling and design optimization for manufacturing and cost reduction.
• Experience with manufacturing environments or contract manufacturers.
• Proven ability to optimize mechanical design, fluid networks, and interdisciplinary interfaces.
• Demonstrated sense of urgency and self-driven to meet tight schedules.
• Experience in product development in an early-stage environment ramping into production.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, prototype, and test the air delivery system to meet performance requirements.
• Build and maintain air delivery flow models to inform design decisions.
• Fabricate and test first-of-a-kind prototypes to validate designs.
• Design for high-volume manufacturing and cost reduction.
• Lead vendor engagements and collaborate with manufacturing to scale designs.
• Collaborate with Electrical and Controls teams to optimize integration.
• Mentor junior engineers and elevate mechanical engineering practices.
• Champion safety in new laboratory processes.
