Job summary

Fruition Group US is seeking a Staff Engineer for the Maps & Localization team in San Francisco. You will own end-to-end development of real-time localization, map matching, and sensor fusion pipelines, writing production code in C++ and Python and shipping features that operate on the vehicle data stream.

You will lead by hands-on contribution, design architecture, and improve robustness against weather and sensor degradation, collaborating with planning and autonomy groups.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of experience writing production C++/Python in large codebases.
• Deep domain strength in 3D geometry.
• Hands-on LiDAR or radar localization with real-time software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement map matching and localization pipelines in production.
• Own end-to-end architecture, implementation, testing, and on-vehicle debugging.
• Lead by hands-on contribution and code quality through reviews.
