Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Analyst - Staff to support a key program delivering integrated voice, video, and data services. You will manage property accountability, inventories, transfers, and compliance across multiple sites, coordinating with project managers to ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation.

The role requires active TS/SCI eligibility, 4+ years in logistics or property management, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Must have active Top-Secret clearance with SCI or TS with ability to acquire SCI.
• 4 years of relevant experience overseeing and executing property inventories, equipment transfers, turn-ins, and general accountability functions across a large asset portfolio.
• 2 years of experience analyzing contracts, customer specifications, and support documentation to determine and document maintenance and logistics requirements.
• Experience using integrated logistics and asset management systems to track property and equipment throughout lifecycle.
• Knowledge of DA PAM 700-142 and/or equipment sanitization/disposal procedures.
• Experience with warehouse logistics, including updating part lists and using Maximo or similar inventory platforms.
• Ability to manage and update virtual records for thousands of assets across multiple sites with collaboration from a Customer Project Manager.
• Maintain logistics support materials such as manuals, bulletins, and system documentation.
• Ability to operate flatbed trucks, pallet jacks, binding equipment, and degaussing machines when needed.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, Visio.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, critical thinking, organization, and problem-solving.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to a wide array of customers as part of a complex team of contractors and government personnel.
• Oversee property inventories, equipment transfers, turn-ins, and accountability across a large portfolio.
• Conduct property inventory of all government furnished equipment and assigned property.
• Review property accountability supporting documents (DD Forms 1149, 1150, 1348, etc.).
• Provide logistics expertise while coordinating with diverse skillsets.
• Oversee equipment delivery and property transfers between government entities.
• Suggest best practices and develop new processes to increase performance and efficiency.
• Ensure property documentation is updated in the inventory management database.
• Be the focal point of ongoing operations and rapid delivery of equipment and services.
• Ensure orders are fulfilled rapidly and on time to meet project schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers and leads to coordinate schedules.
