Job summary

Amentum in Falls Church, VA is seeking a Logistics Generalist to support the Office of Logistics and Sponsor supply chain regulations. Responsibilities include purchasing materials, coordinating transportation, maintaining inventories, and ensuring asset accountability for mission success.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required, along with at least five years of logistics experience. The role may require CONUS/OCONUS travel and cross-functional coordination with senior staff

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance with Polygraph.
• Five (5) years of relevant logistics experience in the public or private sector.
• OR a minimum of 12 months, within the last 3 years, of experience as a Logistics Generalist supporting a sensitive Sponsor program.
• Depending office of assignment, forklift certification maybe required
• Depending office of assignment, HAZMAT certification may be required or preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing of materials and services within area of assignment; validate customer requirements against regulations and estimates costs.
• Coordinate transportation processing and shipping; arrange for stock levels and safe handling for shipment.
• Maintain inventories and property records; manage fleet and vehicle maintenance; ensure mission readiness.
• Fulfills property accountability and audits; manage parking permits, licenses, and related items.
• Coordinate with Facilities Management for office moves, renovations, and maintenance; ensure proper staff coverage.
