Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced DevOps/SRE professional to design and scale our multi-cloud infrastructure. You will partner with engineering to automate tooling, ensure reliability of Kubernetes clusters, and implement comprehensive observability across endpoints and applications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in DevOps/SRE, strong Golang/Python skills, and deep Kubernetes/infra automation exposure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Qualifications

5+ years experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent field.
Deep proficiency with Golang or Python.
Deep familiarity with container-related security best practices.
Production experience with Kubernetes and the ecosystem (cert-manager, external-dns). GPU clusters bonus.
Experience with Helm or Kustomize for templating.
Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation (IaC).
Experience with AWS services (IAM, S3, EC2, EKS).
Experience with other clouds (GCP, Azure) a bonus.
Experience with PostgreSQL.
Experience with GitOps tools (Flux or Argo).
Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

Design, build, and advance core infrastructure for engineering teams.
Partner with engineers to develop dev tools and deployment infrastructure.
Ensure reliability of multi-cloud Kubernetes clusters and pipelines.
Implement metrics, logging, analytics, and alerting for performance and security.
Develop infrastructure-as-code deployment tooling across cloud providers.
Automate operations to free energy for high-impact work.
Build ML infrastructure to train, test, and deploy on large datasets.
