Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Infrastructure/Platform Engineer to design, build and operate large-scale Kubernetes clusters across clouds. You will develop control planes, tooling, and fleet-wide automation to empower engineers while maintaining operational excellence.
You will work with Go, Envoy/Istio, and cluster addons, contributing to architecture and tooling decisions in a hybrid Sydney-based environment.
Qualifications
- Senior software engineer with platform or infrastructure product experience.
- Strong Golang background and production Kubernetes operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate Kubernetes infrastructure across clouds.
- Develop platform tooling and abstractions for scalable workloads.
- Maintain xDS control planes and cluster addon ecosystem.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and tooling direction.
