CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer - Java to lead design, development, and modernization of enterprise healthcare platforms. You will drive architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver scalable, secure applications for millions of customers.

You will partner with Product, Architecture, Security, and Operations to deliver innovative healthcare solutions, with emphasis on Java-based distributed systems and cloud-native patterns.

Formación

• 7+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise solutions.
• 7+ years of hands‑on Java application development with modern Java frameworks.
• 5+ years of Java, Springboot development experience.
• 5+ years of cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years of designing and developing modern microservices and APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 3+ years in an Agile‑based development environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable software solutions that meet business requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on performance, feasibility, and scalability to ensure objectives are met.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to align on technical direction and decisions.
• Adopt new technologies and tools to improve productivity and code quality.
• Share knowledge through code reviews, talks, and workshops.
• Mentor junior developers to grow technical skills.
