Databricks is seeking a Product Manager with expertise in automation and Generative AI to design, develop, and deploy intelligent automation solutions across Databricks. This role will drive the use of advanced AI tools and methodologies to streamline business processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance operational efficiencies. As part of our digital transformation team, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities, implement AI-driven solutions, and refine processes to create measurable business value.The successful candidate will drive the analysis, design, and implementation of automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity across the organization. By minimizing manual touches and scaling organizational needs, you will play a critical role in optimizing workflows and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes and expertise in automation technologies and tools. You will report to the VP of Fintech and work closely with our leadership and business partners.

The impact you will have:

  • Develop automation solutions: Leverage Generative AI models (e.g., GPT, LLMs) and frameworks to automate repetitive tasks, enhance decision-making processes, and improve user experience across applications.
  • Identify opportunities for automation: Collaborate with business units to analyze workflows, identify areas for efficiency gains, and determine where Generative AI can enhance productivity.
  • Process enhancement: Design end-to-end automated workflows incorporating AI for natural language processing, data extraction, content generation, and more.
  • Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure smooth integration of AI-driven automation tools, addressing challenges, and providing solutions.

What we look for:

  • 8+ years of relevant product management experience in IT product management, with a focus on process automation and optimization with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience leading successful automation initiatives preferably in the quote to revenue processes.
  • Understanding of business processes with expertise in analyzing, designing, and implementing automation solutions.
  • Technical acumen with hands-on experience in process automation technologies and tools, such as RPA, process mining, AI based automation tools.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams as a Product Owner
  • Data and metrics skills to backup assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 1 Pay Range

$189,600 — $290,700 USD
