Job summary

RB Global is seeking a Staff iOS Engineer to provide technical leadership for our mobile app, the primary buyers’ touchpoint for vehicle auctions in North America. You will guide architectural decisions, establish iOS standards, and mentor a distributed team across locations.

This hands-on role collaborates with product, design, and backend teams to ship features that drive revenue and improve the buyer experience, while owning the CI/CD pipeline and release processes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years iOS engineering experience, with staff-level leadership.
• Deep Swift andUIKit expertise; UIKit-SwiftUI migration experience.
• Strong knowledge of MVVM, Router/Coordinator, Async/Await patterns.
• Experience owning iOS CI/CD pipelines and App Store lifecycle.
• Security awareness: Keychain, certificate pinning, secrets management.
• Experience with push notification platforms and deep/link integrations.
• Ability to mentor across time zones and articulate tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Lead iOS architectural roadmap and set standards.
• Define and enforce iOS engineering standards and release processes.
• Own CI/CD pipeline for iOS including test coverage and signing.
• Improve observability with crash analytics and performance monitoring.
• Lead security hardening across the iOS codebase.
• Integrate push notification infra, deep links, and identity verification SDKs.
• Collaborate with backend/BFF teams to align mobile needs early.
• Partner with product and design on mobile-focused backlog.
• Support production incident responses and hotfix releases.
• Mentor distributed iOS engineers across locations.
