Job summary

RB Global seeks a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer to lead mobile app development across Web and Mobile, shaping technical strategy and mentoring engineers. You will drive innovation, performance optimization, and scalable native and Flutter solutions while collaborating with Product Management to deliver customer-centric features.

As a technical leader, you will guide architecture decisions, ensure code quality, and work with remote teams across offices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
10+ years of software development with mobile app focus.
Experience with native Swift/Kotlin and Flutter.
Proficient in RESTful APIs and Spring Framework.
Familiarity with iOS/Android tooling (Xcode, Android Studio).
Ability to define scalable mobile architecture and ensure performance.
Knowledge of app store submission guidelines.
Experience with CI/CD and automation (Bitrise, CircleCI, Jenkins).
Excellent communication for remote teams and mentoring.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and deployment of mobile apps.
Define technical vision and architecture for e-commerce mobile products.
Provide leadership in native and Flutter development and performance optimization.
Ensure code quality and frequent safe production changes.
Collaborate with Staff/ Sr. Staff Engineers on technical strategy.
Mentor junior to senior engineers through guidance and reviews.
Drive performance improvements and seamless user experiences.
Partner with managers on team performance and hiring input.
Stay ahead of trends and introduce innovative mobile solutions.
Publish and influence tech strategy within RB Global.
