Job summary

Robinhood Markets, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff iOS Engineer for the Trading Tools team. You will lead mobile architecture, own core surfaces, and drive cross-platform consistency while remaining hands-on in iOS to tackle complex challenges.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, design, and backend teams, and help shape engineering standards. This role requires 8+ years in iOS, strong Swift/SwiftUI expertise, and a track record of delivering scalable mobile solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications with Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
• Proven experience owning the technical direction of a product area or platform.
• Experience designing mobile systems with scalable architecture and maintainable testing.
• Leads technical initiatives across teams, balancing delivery with platform improvements.
• Strong knowledge of Android development principles to collaborate with Android engineers.
• Excellent communication for translating complex trading concepts into mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision for mobile across iOS and Android while staying hands-on in iOS.
• Own the architecture of a scalable iOS application supporting core trading surfaces.
• Build modular mobile architecture with self-contained components for cross-team work.
• Align iOS and Android on architecture, data contracts, and release sequencing.
• Improve performance, real-time data handling, observability, and release stability.
• Lead integration of AI-driven capabilities into core trading, research, and portfolios.
