Job summary

Robinhood in Toronto, ON is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer for the Crypto Perpetuals team to design and build high-performance mobile experiences with real-time data and sophisticated trading flows. You will partner with product, design, and backend engineers to deliver pro-grade tools for serious traders while elevating the team’s technical bar.

This role offers in-person attendance at least 3 days per week in our Toronto office, with base pay ranges for CAD locations and bonus/equity

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience developing iOS applications.
• Experience building large-scale iOS apps with Swift.
• Ability to design scalable iOS architecture for crypto trading experiences.
• Strong collaboration with product, design, backend and data teams.
• Experience shaping high-performance mobile experiences for financial products.
• Clear communication translating complex trading concepts to mobile UI.
• US citizens or lawful permanent residents restriction.

Responsibilities

• Develop iOS applications for crypto trading with real-time data handling.
• Design scalable architecture supporting advanced trading workflows.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and data teams to deliver pro-grade tools.
• Improve performance, observability, and release stability of core workflows.
• Lead technical planning and participate in design reviews and incident resolution.
• Mentor iOS engineers and contribute to engineering standards and docs.
