Job summary

The Briefed is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to build scalable mobile experiences for crypto trading on Robinhood’s Crypto Perpetuals team. You will shape architecture for real-time data, optimize performance, and collaborate with product, design, backend, and data partners to deliver pro-grade trading tools on iOS.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive technical initiatives across teams, and contribute to engineering standards while ensuring robust release quality and a strong user experience

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Extensive Swift and modern iOS framework experience.
• Design mobile systems with scalable architecture and maintainable testing strategies for data-intensive or real-time use cases.
• Ability to collaborate with product, design, backend, and infrastructure teams.
• Experience leading technical initiatives across multiple teams and balancing short-term delivery with long-term platform improvements.
• Clear communication skills and ability to translate trading concepts into intuitive mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable iOS application architecture for crypto trading on mobile.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and data teams to deliver fast, reliable trading tools.
• Improve performance, real-time data handling, observability, and release stability for crypto workflows.
• Lead technical planning and design reviews, discussions, and incident resolution for high-stakes features.
• Mentor iOS engineers through code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and documentation.
