CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer — iOS to drive scalable iOS solutions that enhance health experiences. You will lead architecture, deliver secure HealthKit integrations, and mentor engineers while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

The role emphasizes strong Swift development, Apple HealthKit expertise, and modern mobile engineering practices to improve quality, efficiency, and developer productivity across the digital health platform.

Qualifications

7+ years across the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing and support.
4+ years building native iOS apps and frameworks.
4+ years testing mobile apps with modern methodologies.
Experience with Swift development.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver scalable native iOS applications aligned with objectives and standards.
Provide technical leadership in architecture and solution design across the SDLC.
Evaluate feasibility, scalability, performance and maintainability of solutions.
Lead code reviews and promote engineering excellence and quality.
Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers on priorities.
Lead HealthKit integrations, including authorization, background delivery, and data sync.
Develop HealthKit features and ensure privacy and security compliance.
Build solutions for health metrics like activity, steps, heart rate, and ECG.
Champion modern mobile engineering practices and toolchains.
Mentor junior engineers and support their growth.
