Apple Inc. is seeking engineers to expand Health app and HealthKit functionality across Apple platforms. You will work with feature teams, hardware teams, and health domain experts to deliver new health features and robust data APIs.

Responsibilities include designing scalable APIs, optimizing performance on constrained devices, and delivering thorough test suites in collaboration with QA and other teams. Join a mission to improve health outcomes at scale.

Formación

• BS computer science or equivalent experience.
• Strong foundation in CS fundamentals.
• 8 years of experience in Objective-C, Swift, C++ or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Solid OO architecture and design.
• Deep understanding of systems-level concepts like multi-threading and IPC.
• Expertise with debugging tools and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of iOS programming and Apple technologies such as Grand Central Dispatch, CloudKit, or XPC.

Responsabilidades

• Developing innovative solutions for efficiently syncing health data across multiple Apple platforms.
• Designing and tuning features for use by millions of users on power- and performance-constrained devices.
• Designing and delivering comprehensive test suites in collaboration with QA and engineering teams.
• Designing scalable APIs to serve developers' needs.
• Participating in peer reviews of architecture, APIs, and changes.
• Collaborating with Design, Privacy, and Security teams and health-domain experts.
