Job summary

CVS Health Digital is seeking a Staff Software Development Engineer – iOS to drive design, architecture, and delivery of scalable iOS solutions, integrating Apple HealthKit to enhance customer health experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-quality products.

The role requires 7+ years in SDLC, 4+ years native iOS and Swift, and experience with health data integrations, testing, and modern mobile engineering practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across the software development lifecycle.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing native iOS applications and frameworks.
• 4+ years of experience with mobile application testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• 4+ years of proficiency in Swift development.
• At least 1 year of experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or similar platforms to enhance engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance native iOS applications that align with business objectives and enterprise standards
• Contribute to architecture and solution-design initiatives, providing technical leadership and strategic guidance throughout the software development lifecycle
• Evaluate technical feasibility, scalability, performance, and maintainability to ensure optimal solution outcomes
• Conduct code reviews and promote engineering excellence through adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality frameworks
• Partner closely with engineers, product managers, architects, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business priorities
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrations with Apple HealthKit, enabling secure collection, synchronization, and management of health and wellness data
