You will own the technical roadmap for critical subsystems, driving cloud-native, secure, and scalable solutions at hyperscale. You will collaborate across Storage, Data, and Product teams to support large-scale AI/ML workloads, multi-cloud resilience, and advanced networking, while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of full-time Software Engineering work experience (inclusive of PhD research or equivalent specialised education).
• Systems Languages: Go, Java, or C++.
• Distributed Systems Mastery: design, build, and productionise large-scale, high-availability infrastructure services.
• Execution Excellence: track record of leading complex, multi-quarter technical initiatives from design to fleet-wide rollout.

Responsibilities

• Lead Architectural Evolution: identify gaps in compute and networking stacks and drive global projects.
• Drive Efficiency at Scale: increase fleet-wide CPU utilisation and accelerate ARM adoption to optimise costs.
• Modernise for Multi-Cloud: direct Thrive in Cloud strategy with active-active, rapid regional failover.
• Integrate AIOps & Automation: develop 'Agentic' tools to automate 80% of alert triaging and incident response.
• Champion 'Security by Design': ensure 100% service-to-service authorisation and zero-trust networking.
• Mentor & Scale Talent: guide 5A and mid-level engineers to raise operational excellence across the organisation.
