Physical Superintelligence, a research‑driven startup, seeks a Staff-level engineer to own the path from commit to production across a global cloud estate. You will build infrastructure as code, pipelines, and governance for AI‑driven software, ensuring fast yet safe shipping of code governed by automated gates.

You will design scalable networks, observability, and self‑service tooling to reduce toil while maintaining engineering rigor and reliability, enabling rapid production deployments.

Qualifications

• Five+ years building and operating production infrastructure with a focus on rigorous engineering processes.
• Deep fluency in infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD systems, and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping infrastructure that teams depend on daily.

Responsibilities

• Own the path from commit to production: pipelines, environments, and gates.
• Operate cloud estate as code across providers: IAM, quotas, provisioning.
• Design and operate multi-cloud networks and failover with rehearsed recovery.
• Make onboarding a system: environments, docs-as-code, and easy defaults.
