Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Incident Response Engineer to join the Cyber Investigation, Response & Automation Team. You will monitor tools and systems defending ServiceNow's production and regulated environment, lead incident responses, and produce comprehensive post-incident and forensic reports.

The role requires 7 to 10+ years of related experience with deep SOC/IR knowledge and extensive expertise in incident response, forensics, threat hunting, and threat intelligence.

• As a Staff Incident Response Engineer on the Cyber Investigation, Response & Automation Team, you will monitor tools and systems defending ServiceNow's production and regulated environment.
• You will lead response to incidents affecting customers, track them to closure, and produce post-incident reports, forensic reports, and remediation plans.
• You will build and maintain incident response playbooks, handbooks, and cybersecurity standards.

Qualifications:

• 7 to 10+ years of related experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Deep understanding of Security Operations Center and incident response protocols and procedures.
• Extensive experience in incident response, digital forensics, threat hunting, and threat intelligence.

Compensation:

• Base pay range of $109,400 - $191,500 plus equity, variable/incentive compensation, and benefits.

• Flexible, remote, or required in office are categories assigned based on nature of work and location.
• Eligibility for a work persona may be confirmed by distance to the closest office.
