Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an experienced Staff Product Quality Engineer to own quality strategy and execution for new compute hardware platforms from concept through volume production. This role spans architecture, manufacturing, and supplier quality to ensure scalable, auditable quality criteria across the lifecycle.

You’ll lead NPI quality, partner with hardware engineering, supply chain, and data center operations to meet quality targets before customer exposure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in hardware/product quality engineering for server infrastructure.
• Led quality through at least two full NPI cycles from EVT to mass production.
• Fluent in compute architecture, power/thermal/signal integrity trade-offs.
• Defined manufacturing test strategies and drove coverage with CM/ODM partners.
• Proficient in FMEA, 8D/RCCA, and DOE methodologies.
• Managed BOM quality, AVL/second-source strategy, and ECO impact.
• Strong data fluency: analyze DPPM, yield, and field returns.
• Clear, cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain and execs.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality workstream across all NPI phases with gates and criteria.
• Drive DFM and DFT reviews with engineering to catch failures early.
• Lead design/process FMEA prioritizing high-severity risks.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and ODM/CM partners on test coverage and pass/fail criteria.
• Own BOM creation, structure, AVL/second-source, and qualification.
• Present quality readiness in leadership reviews with data-backed insights.
• Review schematics and architectures for quality and testability implications.
• Translate architectural changes into updated quality and test requirements.
