Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation is seeking an experienced hardware development engineer for the NPI Product Development Engineering team in Santa Clara, CA. You will drive the manufacturing, test, and failure analysis for datacenter server platforms, guiding products from concept to high-volume production.

You will collaborate across HW/FW/SW, with manufacturing partners and quality teams to implement robust development plans, DFx feedback, and data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proven skills in design and manufacture of complex compute or networking hardware platforms.
• Knowledge of CPUs, GPUs, HBMs and system interfaces (Ethernet, PCIe, I2C, SPI).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities on hardware platforms.
• Familiarity with Linux CLI and logfiles for triage.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Owns and delivers manufacturing, test, and failure analysis/recovery processes for new datacenter servers and assemblies.
• Leads product development during the NPI phase and enables high-volume production handoff.
• Collaborates with HW/FW/SW engineering, manufacturing partners, and other ops groups.
• Develops and implements comprehensive product development plans for high-quality products.
• Participates in DFX reviews and provides feedback to improve product quality.
• Works with factory teams to resolve prototype/validation issues and report status.
