Job summary

Faire is hiring a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Growth Platform's evolution, focusing on messaging infrastructure, targeting capabilities, and developer tooling. You will drive technical direction across multiple product areas and partner with product engineers to translate opportunities into scalable platform systems.

You’ll mentor engineers, influence product strategy, and emphasize internal customer empathy to deliver tooling that accelerates growth across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience building high-scale platforms, infrastructure, or reusable systems.
• Strong internal customer empathy and ability to build tooling with high adoption.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and evolution of Faire’s Growth Platform capabilities (messaging, targeting, tooling).
• Partner with internal users to improve developer experience and self-serve growth tooling.
• Architect scalable systems to rapidly launch, validate, and scale growth initiatives.
• Build frameworks that reduce cost and complexity of new growth launches.
• Influence product and business strategy through technical insight and growth levers.
• Improve developer productivity by evolving platform tooling and processes.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team technical direction.
