Job summary

Google's Pixel Graphics GPU Software team seeks a Staff Software Engineer to own kernel and user-space GPU driver work, drive new features, bring up silicon, and push performance across Pixel devices.

You will provide technical leadership, influence Android, Pixel, and Silicon leadership on graphics opportunities, and guide a distributed team of engineers to deliver impactful GPU solutions for mobile hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years in low-level systems programming (C/C++).
• 5 years in developing and maintaining device drivers.
• 3 years in software design, architecture and technical leadership.
• Experience with GPUs and mobile GPUs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on graphics hardware and software projects.
• Lead and coach a distributed team of engineers.
• Align goals, outcomes, and timelines across teams.
