Samsung Electronics’ SARC/ACL seeks a Staff GPU Post-Silicon Debug and Validation Engineer to drive bring-up, debug, and validation of next‑gen GPU IP across silicon and emulation platforms in Austin. You will collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and software teams to resolve complex issues and improve test efficiency.

In this IC‑level role, you will develop debug tools, apply AI/ML techniques for automation, participate in SOC-level tests, and contribute to IP‑level validation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field with GPU/post-silicon debug experience.
• Hands-on with AI/ML tools or techniques for debugging or test automation.
• Experience with system/board bring-up and hardware test equipment.
• Familiarity with GPU APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan) and software stacks.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Support GPU silicon debug, design-for-debug architecture, and diagnostic development.
• Assist automated SOC-level test generation for GPU and Coherent Interconnect.
• Participate in board-level hardware/software bring-up of GPU and SOCs.
• Perform functional and parametric analysis of SOC/IP within an SOC.
• Develop tools/scripts to automate debugging and testing.
• Learn and apply debug features to accelerate testing and improve validation.
• Contribute to IP-level functional validation test plans.
• Support SOC emulation, modify test benches, run emulation, analyze behavior.
