Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a GPU Architect to lead pre-silicon graphics workloads verification for graphics core and GPU subsystems.

You will architect verification strategies, develop workload capture/replay tools, and collaborate across architecture, modeling, design, emulation, and software teams to ensure architectural alignment. You will mentor engineers, advance driver and compiler verification methodologies, and stay ahead of evolving GPU architectures, AI/ML compute trends,

Qualifications

• 6+ years with BS or 4+ years with MS or 2+ years with PhD in CS/CE.
• Strong understanding of GPU architecture and microarchitecture performance.
• Proficient in C++ and Python in Linux environments.
• Experience developing Vulkan tests and profiling tools.
• Experience triaging Android SW stack and Linux kernel pre-silicon.
• Familiar with OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL and related GPU stacks.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive pre-silicon graphics workloads verification strategies and execution flows.
• Develop and maintain workload capture/replay infrastructure and automation frameworks.
• Analyze, debug, and correlate issues across Android, Vulkan, Linux kernel, and silicon.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with GPU architecture, modeling, design, emulation and software teams.
• Mentor engineers and advance pre-silicon driver/compiler verification methodologies.
