Job summary

Twining Consulting, Inc. in Ventura seeks a Staff Engineer to join our geotechnical engineering, testing, and inspection team. The role blends office and field work, supporting project management, client interaction, and technical investigations with a focus on quality and timely delivery.

You will review field reports, assist with proposal writing, and contribute to geotechnical operations and materials testing. Candidates with 1–2 years civil/geotechnical experience and a California E.I.T.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years civil/geotechnical engineering experience preferred.
• California E.I.T. registration within one year preferred.
• Proficiency in PC applications and Microsoft Word/Excel.
• Experience with site field reports and laboratory tests a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support project management, proposal preparation, and client interaction.
• Support materials testing and inspection services.
• Support geotechnical operations.
• Review daily field reports and laboratory test results.
• Develop proposals for material testing, inspections, and geotechnical work.
