Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking staff engineers to gain exposure to geotechnical investigations, materials testing programs, forensic assignments, and report writing under licensed PE supervision. You'll see the ground truth behind design assumptions on projects from building pads to heavy industrial programs.

This role involves planning field work, data reduction, and drafting reports, with mentorship toward PE licensure.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate or exam scheduled.
• Field-willing and able to work on construction sites.
• Clear technical writing required.
• Interest in geotechnical, materials, or forensic practice.

Responsibilities

• Plan and observe drilling and field testing programs.
• Reduce and review laboratory data.
• Draft geotechnical and materials reports.
• Support forensic investigations, coring programs, and distress evaluations.
• Coordinate field crews and laboratory scheduling on projects.
• Progress toward PE licensure with mentorship and exam support.
