Job summary

Plaid is building the AI Applications Team to consolidate and rapidly scale AI bets for AI-powered customer experiences. You will join as a founding member to lead projects with our largest AI customers and partners, starting with personal finance use cases and expanding to many others.

You will design, develop, and scale backend services and GenAI-powered features, collaborating with AI engineers and ML teams to deliver high-impact, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building backend services and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on with LLMs: prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG.
• Ability to design GenAI-powered UX and products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GenAI-powered backend services and APIs.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to build GenAI features.
• Architect AI patterns for scalable, secure customer experiences.
• Run rapid experiments to measure business impact of AI capabilities.
• Extend AI-powered experiences across customer journeys.
