Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Staff- level engineer to own platform systems end to end across multiple teams. You will architect ingestion, modeling, and syncing into a near-real-time knowledge graph, and lead integrations with external systems including Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.

You will define operational readiness and resolve cross-team dependencies across graph backend, AI Platform, and Infrastructure while working in a high-impact, ambiguous space at GitLab.

Qualifications

• Staff owning product or platform systems end to end across multiple teams.
• Deep full-stack expertise in Go, Ruby, and Node.js with experience in analytics platforms or data integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect how GitLab data is ingested, modeled, and synced into a near-real-time knowledge graph.
• Lead integration with external systems and architect the Data Marketplace for Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery.
• Define operational readiness and resolve cross-team dependencies across graph backend, AI Platform, and Infrastructure.
