WHAT YOU'LL DO:

1. Develop and optimize AI-powered applications that drive innovation in healthcare and life sciences.
2. Ensure high performance, scalability, and security, troubleshooting issues and implementing best practices.
3. Integrate AI/ML technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and vector databases, into software solutions.
4. Collaborate in an agile environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs.
5. Lead and participate in architectural and design decisions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
6. Write clean, testable, and maintainable code, following CI/CD and DevOps principles.
7. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering best practices and technical excellence.
8. Implement automation strategies across testing, integration, and deployment.
9. Champion technical standards and advocate for best practices in cloud computing, security, and microservices architecture.
10. Proactively address technical debt and drive continuous improvement in system performance and reliability.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

1. 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on AI-based applications.
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI, or a related field.
3. Proficiency in Java, Python, and JavaScript, with expertise in JVM internals, Spring Framework (IOC, AOP, Security, Boot), and frontend frameworks (React/Angular).
4. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
5. Deep understanding of MySQL/PostgreSQL performance optimization, transaction control, and indexing strategies.
6. Advanced knowledge of Redis (RedLock, Stream persistence, hot key detection) and Elasticsearch (vector search, cross-cluster search optimization).
7. Experience in AI/ML applications, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, and vector databases.
8. Proficiency in security best practices, including Zero Trust Architecture and JWT token binding.
9. Expertise in service governance, including Sentinel for dynamic rate limiting and Seata for distributed transactions.
10. Experience with feature flag management tools (e.g., LaunchDarkly).
11. Strong problem-solving mindset, capable of balancing technical debt, delivery speed, and business needs.
12. Ability to mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning.

The compensation for this position ranges from $131,000 to $178,000 a year, determined by job level, role requirements, and each candidate’s experience, skills, and location. The listed base pay represents the target for new hires with individual compensation varying accordingly. These figures exclude potential bonuses, equity, or sales incentives, which may also be part of the total compensation package.
