You will own the technical strategy for distributed systems, APIs and merchant-focused features, collaborate with ML, product, and design teams, and drive quality while staying hands-on when needed to deliver impactful payment intelligence solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience including 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience leading engineering teams on distributed systems, API design, and user-facing products.
• Proven track record delivering pragmatic solutions that accelerate business growth.
• Able to drive high-level strategy while also contributing hands-on when needed.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy for multiple experiences across the Payment Intelligence portfolio, focusing on quality and performance.
• Champion a quality-first engineering culture—establish standards, tooling, and processes to ship high-quality code at scale.
• Partner with merchants to co-build the future of payment-centric intelligence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and ML colleagues to ship the best software.
• Work across the stack—contribute to infrastructure, FE, API, and ML-adjacent work.
