Job summary

You will lead technical strategy, mentor engineers, and champion quality standards while delivering robust, production-grade systems that power fraud, disputes, and analytics across the payments stack.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering.

• Experience leading engineering teams on distributed systems, API design, and user-facing products.

• Effective cross-team communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define technical strategy for multiple experiences within the Payment Intelligence portfolio, focusing on quality and performance.
• Champion a quality-first engineering culture with standards, tooling, and processes for scalable shipping of high-quality code.
• Partner with Stripe's largest merchants to co-build the future of payment-centric intelligence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and ML teams to deliver the best software.
• Work across the stack, contributing to infrastructure, FE, API, and ML-adjacent work.
