Job summary

PKR is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to build features end-to-end from SDK on-device to backend services and data pipeline. You’ll ensure explainability in the Portal and work across async global teams with emphasis on reliability and regulatory compliance.

The role is hybrid and based in the Philadelphia corridor, with travel as needed. Strong expertise in Java/Spring, TypeScript/Angular, and Kotlin Multiplatform is required, as is experience with cloud, security, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Staff-level experience delivering complex features end-to-end.
• Strong backend in Java/Spring and REST/microservices.
• Strong frontend in TypeScript/JavaScript with Angular.
• Hands-on SDK development in Kotlin Multiplatform or equivalent.
• Experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems.
• Cloud expertise: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker; NoSQL and streaming tech.
• Security-conscious engineering: TLS, tokens, device attestation.
• Well-versed in CI/CD, testing, and release discipline.
• Fluency with AI development tools and responsible usage.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and ship features end-to-end across SDK, Portal, APIs, backend services and data pipeline.
• Translate customer problems into verified fixes spanning system boundaries.
• Contribute production code to Java/Spring backend, Kotlin Multiplatform SDK, and Angular/TypeScript Portal.
• Ensure parity across native and web platforms.
• Document architectural decisions and raise technical standards through reviews.
• Own production quality: performance, on-call, incident response and RC root causes.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, SRE and Compliance for reliable releases meeting regulatory requirements.
• Drive async collaboration across time zones and judiciously use AI development tools.
